3, 4, 5, 6 generations back.....

The family was from Sweden and England and Ireland and France.  What would they say about the world today?  Good most of us come from "strong stock" grandma said.  Great, great, great grandfather was a doctor in Sweden and he use to make house calls on ice skates....what a delightful image.  Great-grandma was the first mid-wife and doctor in the Utah Territory.  She got her education through a correspondence course and then set up shop in Salt Lake City.  Others were tailors, miners, authors and "intuitive readers"....hmmmm.

This car is a Bisbee car. You are smiling, you know you are.

I want to drive around in this car in Bisbee.  I am old dame and I have worked damn hard and I deserve this little gem and what the hell.... LOL.

They came in 4 or 5 colors.  The red would do just fine too. 

 

 

They made a little travel trailer to go with the cars.....ahhhh

Found quite a large assortment of old family slides in my step-dad's sock stuffed away in a box mom gave my husband who thought the contents were all xmas décor but underneath, hidden in a corner was the sock.  47 slides never seen before by human eyes maybe. 

And I keep asking myself what happened to the days when we got dressed up? I mean even to go to the store?  As I kid I remember walking with my aunt and mother through the Portland, Oregon Greyhound bus depot.  I can still see their fine wool suits, high heels, hair and make up perfect, lipstick on precisely.  Even at the age of 5 I knew they both were a class act.  All stopped to watch them gracefully stride by and then helped onto the bus to ride to Albany Oregon. 

 

 

This one is simply amazing, I keep looking at it.  So many emotions and qualities.  Stunning really.

The house has sold.

Ah so much to do, so little time.  The house sold quickly,  Will miss it.  One more step to Bisbee

 

 

The Truck to haul the trailer - "The long, long trailer" friend says.

Brother Dennis said "Hey sis, now you have to buy a truck for the trailer...LOL".  And so see the HUGE truck below hubby was more then thrilled, over the moon about it, I never see him anymore as he is at the truck, in the truck, washing the truck, showing if off to someone truck and I think he is planning on sleeping in it truck...:-) He even texts me photos of it constantly....teehee, happy he is happy....

And then Bro Dennis mentioned about the Lucy and Desi Movie "The long, long trailer" made in the 1950's.  I never heard of it but here it is
